Drake & Farrell Netherlands

Strategically located in Bleiswijk, Drake & Farrell is close to the Port of Rotterdam and Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. Bleiswijk has 15,000sqm of A+++ energy-certified warehouse space, reverse logistics staging area, storage locations and value creation staging area. We offer a wealth of space to complete light technical work, software updates, production, and pick and pack, all of which in ISO 9001:2015 and reuse in WEEELABEX standards. All component-level technical work is supported by Drake & Farrell Czech Republic.

Drake & Farrell Czech Republic

Drake & Farrell Czech Republic has 1,900sqm of warehouse and technical laboratory space located in Jindrichuv Hradec. The ISO 9001:2015 certified warehouse, which includes electrostatic discharge (ESD) protected workspaces, storage locations, and value creation staging spaces, enables us to provide deep-level, innovative solutions to support our clients in their business goals. At this site, we provide component-level technical repairs, rework, refurbishment, cosmetic repairs, and innovative test solutions.

Our leadership team

David Engel

CEO

David has over 20 years leadership experience across small, medium and large enterprises. He co-founded 3 companies and successfully built-from-scratch, re-structured and grew companies and corporate divisions in Europe and North America. Having worked and lived in 6 countries across 2 continents, he is tri-lingual.

Christiaan Kooijman

Head of Digital and IT

To emphasize the importance of IT to the continuous growth of Drake & Farrell, Christiaan joined the leadership team as Head of Digital and IT in 2021. He has broad experience in IT and program management. He has led and developed IT teams so they meet the demands of modern, innovative businesses. Christiaan has led the modernization of the global application landscape at Royal Boskalis between 2010 and 2020. Before this he was managing partner at the consultancy firm Exxap. Christiaan studied IT management at the Delft Technical University.

Birgitta van Santen

Head of HR

Birgitta joined Drake & Farrell in November 2019 to build the HR department and structure. Both practically and strategically, she has achieved various results and implemented improvements. She has extensive knowledge in labour law and Learning and Development. In her career she delivered several HR personnel strategies in logistic companies. With her pragmatic approach and leadership skills, she ensures that HR processes are closely aligned with the needs of the business. She is a strong business partner for strategic and tactical organisational structures. Birgitta has a good feel for the human aspect in the company and for the employees and their talents. In doing so, she helps realise growth for both the organisation and the employee.

Linda Beekman

Head of Finance

Linda Beekman  joined the Drake&Farrell management team as Head of Finance in March 2021. Linda started her career at EY auditors and has over 25 years (corporate) financial experience within several companies and industrials, sence Alcatel, VelopA and Bentley Systems.

Linda is highly capable in controlling and bookkeeping. She has developed her leadership skills at small, medium and large enterprises within in the Netherlands and abroad. Additionally, she possesses extensive sell-side experience through various M&A projects she has completed at former employers.

Linda is finance driven and commercial-business minded with a high organizational sensitivity.

Berry Selhorst

Head of Operations

Berry Selhorst has worked for Drake & Farrell B.V. since 2018 and, as Head of Operations, is responsible for all operational activities for the Bleiswijk location in the Netherlands and Jindrichuv Hradec in the Czech Republic.

Berry has worked in the logistics sector since 2008 where he started his career at Veembedrijf De Rijke Botlek. Here he held various management positions.

Berry was born and raised in Maassluis and holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Amsterdam.

Victor Roos

Head of Business Development

Victor Roos joined the Drake & Farrell management team as Head of Business Development in September 2022. Victor studied commercial economics and has a strong background in logistics, outsourcing and supply chain industry. Victor started his career at KPN as sales account manager. For Bosch GMBH he worked in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria in different commercial roles before he joined Philips MAG45 where his last position was CCO. The last two years Victor was self-employed supporting different companies in sales strategy en business development.
